MELBOURNE, April 24 AAP - Victoria Police's holiday weekend road blitz has netted two
drink-drivers, both more than five times over the legal limit.

The first, a 40-year-old Ashburton man, was intercepted in Glen Waverley after hitting
the wall of the Burnley Tunnel and then crashing into a vehicle on the corner of Waverley
and Blackburn roads.

He was followed by an off-duty senior sergeant who witnessed his erratic driving about
5pm (AEST) on Saturday and called triple zero.

The driver blew 0.268 after being intercepted by police.

He is expected to be charged with drink-driving, conduct endangering life and other
related offences.

The second driver was intercepted at 12.30am (AEST) on Sunday in a Holden Commodore
while heading south on Pakenham Street in Blackburn South.

He was pulled over for a random breath test by Box Hill police and after a positive
reading, returned an evidentiary test result of 0.266.

The 26-year-old Box Hill man will be charged with drink-driving offences.
